Should You Sell Your House “As-Is”? September 28, 2022 By unlimited Speaker 1:One of the most frequently asked questions I get in speaking with sellers is, “Should I do the work to the property myself and list it on the market? Or should I just sell it as is to a cash buyer?” The thing I always recommend in speaking with sellers is to, if you have the time and the resources to hire out or do the work yourself. You’re going to get the most money when you follow that process, because when you sell to a cash buyer like myself, we have a number of other costs that we have to cover in addition to just the renovation costs that you would have as the homeowner. We have to incur transfer taxes, closing costs, holding costs and resale costs. So all of that factors into our price, in addition to our profit margin and our renovation costs in making our offer to you.So my number one recommendation is always, if you can handle it as a seller in fixing up the home yourself and listening on the market, to do that first. If you can’t, then you have a real decision to make. You can sell as is to us as a cash buyer and be done with it in as little as 10 to 14 days. Or you can list it as is on the open market and there are pros and cons to that as well. But if you’d like to discuss this more and how we can help you in your situation, please fill it out a form on our website today or give me a call. I’d be happy to discuss your options.
